Design concept
마중은 집안의 창문을 통해 경치를 빌리고 세상의 소식을 들여오던 한옥의 ‘차경’개념으로부터 시작되었습니다. 현대 주거공간의 고정된 풍경을 변화시키고, 세상의 소식을 적절히 들여와 사용자를 돕습니다.
The 'Majung' began with the concept of "Chagyeong" in hanok, which borrowed the scenery through the windows of the house and brought in news of the world. It changes the fixed landscape of modern house and helps users by bringing in the world's news properly
Background
현관은 집의 안과 밖을 구분해주는 공간입니다. 마중은 그 경계에 위치해 중문의 역할을 하는 디스플레이 파티션 제품입니다. 집 내부를 온전히 드러내지 않고 사적인 영역을 지켜주며, 점차 단순화되어가는 주거 공간 속에서 나의 공간을 만드는 경계이자 외부 세계를 들여오는 플랫폼이 되어줍니다.
Doorway is a space that separates the inside and outside of the house. Majung is a display product located at the border and serves as the center door. It protects the private area without fully revealing the inside of the house, and becomes a boundary that creates my own space in the increasingly simplified modern house and a platform that brings in the external world.

Magnetic hanger modules and trays allow you to store your belongings that are easy to forget just before you go out.
Majung display
마중(majung)의 투명 디스플레이는 실내외 경계 속에 스며들어 자연스럽게 공간을 분리합니다. 외출 전후 홈 IOT 제어, 날씨 정보 및 하루 일과, 구독 서비스, 포토 부스 등과 같은 사용자 맞춤형 경험을 제공합니다.
Majung's transparent display seeps into the interior and exterior boundaries and naturally separates the space. Provides customized experiences such as home IOT control, weather information and daily routines, subscription services, photo booths, and more before and after going out.
Smart control
사용자는 스마트 컨트롤을 통해 외출 전 조명, 가스, 보일러 등 에너지 사용 현황을 한 눈에 확인하고 제어합니다. 미처 끄지 못한 방의 조명을 위해 도로 들어갈 필요 없이 사용자가 위치한 현관 공간에서 손쉽게 해결할 수 있습니다
사용자는 스마트 컨트롤을 통해 외출 전 조명, 가스, 보일러 등 에너지 사용 현황을 한 눈에 확인하고 제어합니다. 미처 끄지 못한 방의 조명을 위해 도로 들어갈 필요 없이 사용자가 위치한 현관 공간에서 손쉽게 해결할 수 있습니다
Smart control allows users to check and control such as lighting, gas usage, and boilers at a glance before going out. You don't have to go back to turn off the forgotten lights in the room, you can easily solve it in the doorway with our 'majung'.

Today's letter box organizes and displays newsletters that have been piled up in email boxes. Users can easily view and save content for the day before going out.
Photo booth & Cam
사용자 외출 후 카메라와 센서가 내부 움직임을 감지하여 보안 카메라의 역할을 수행합니다. 마중의 포토부스를 열고 사진을 찍어 특별한 순간의 추억을 남길 수 있습니다.
After the user leaves, the camera and sensor detect internal movement and act as a security camera. You can open the photo booth and take pictures to leave special memories.
